To some of my Flickr friends: If you're wondering who ::Jo_eD:: is, he is a working photographer and a friend of mine (I've known him through mutual friends since high school) who is looking to meet more like-minded photographers and creative types, so he added a bunch of local-ish Flickrites I reccomended to him :) Let's all shoot together soon!
I am not a particularly religious person. At times I would describe myself as “spiritual.” Mainly I feel like spirituality is a completely personal thing, so I don't understand the concept that a large group of people gathered in one room would feel the same way about spirituality. As an Art History major I am very interested in religion, religious art and faith. I have a great deal of respect for people who are faithful, even those more faithful than I am. Anything that makes a person feel a deeper connection to themselves and their spirituality, anything that guides a person on a path towards wholeness and exploration, I think that is a good thing.
